Emergency Coordination Center
The City of Gatineau needed new spaces to coordinate emergency measures for public safety. The location of the newly built Fire Hall #4 had many advantages and thus was selected to host the new Emergency Measure Coordination Center as an addition to the existing building. The 430m2 addition sits above the administrative spaces of the fire hall.
MPA was the prime consultant for this project and coordinated the work between all other consultants including electrical, mechanical, structural, from pre-design to the construction, and commissioning. The centre was developed as a large open space allowing maximum flexibility for coordination activities and better support future needs.
